Thank you for reviving this!
My birthday is coming up. Guess who's not going to pay for this game? ;D

You might not know this, but Mytthal has a soft spot for cake. He likes to lurk around West and steal Apple Pie from the Cooking Guild.

I have it, and really enjoyed it. It's currently my third favorite Kingdom Hearts game behind Birth By Sleep and the first Kingdom Hearts. I wasn't a big fan of the Drop system, especially when it happens during Boss Fights and I don't have a Drop-Me-Not.

But either than that, the game is pretty great. The Command Deck battle system is pretty fun overall, and I hope they apply it to the inevitable Kingdom Hearts III. The Mementos did a good job of summarizing the story thus far, useful for anyone just getting into the series or have been missing out on certain titles.

the drop function annoyed me only during the boss fights, and i really don't use those drop me not items.

Know your classical music :P
- Nutcracker Suite Op.71
- Symphony No.6 "Pastoral" Op.68

The whole soundtrack is amazing though, Yoko Shimomura sure pulled it off again :D

Must say that I really hope they close the current story after KHIII as I fear the story will lose its strength should they continue to stretch on with the Xehanorth stuff. There's a reason why most series with a continues story fall apart after a few games and we wouldn't want KH to reach that line of series as well.

I assume that before KH3 they will bring out BBS2 first. The reason is because of the Secret Message ;D

That message just says that you'll have to pass the time with KH1.5 before they release a new game  ::)

You get enough info to get the story, it has all the info in it about the other games.

Story wise there will be quite a few things that you wouldn't understand if you haven't played KH or KHII. Mainly because this games plot is basses around the plots in the previous main games (KH, KHII & KHBBS), but each and every story until now has a written recap in the game itself.

So if you don't mind a spoiler or 2 you'll be fine. If you don't want to be spoilered in any way then this game isn't a thing for you :P
