Max lvl is 50 if am right. It ain't hard to lvl up, but you got more jobs to lvl. SO it takes long to lvl them all up.

Its not that hard to level up, but the rate dependence on the amount of hours you play each day and the job your levelling up.

The trades of War and Magic are the easiest to level and the trades of Land aren't going quite fast as well. The trades of Hand are a pain to level up though as it takes a long time, at least that's my personal experience. The problem with FFXIV is that you've to 20 jobs between which you can change freely, so while levelling 1 is pretty easy levelling them all will definitely take a while.

It also depends how many hours a day you can play. If you play a lot each day you will burn up through your rest bonus, anima and most importantly your leve allowances. Those three things are basically determine how quickly you can level up.

Also the current cap is lvl 50, but each job is trained individual and there aren't any overall levels.

I'll post a more accurate list of recommended (note it says recommended and not needed) video cards due to the various issues regarding them:

Woot nice list. Didn't even knew people had made such lists for FFXIV, the game must be more popular than some people make it look ^_^

BTW during our run today I've showed my comrades the hell called power levelling. Whole team of lvl 20 guys just standing around the safe place while there team-mates where doing high level quests, with which bonus the lower people would automatically level up in a paste pretty even to what the three of us where achieving using the normal way. Its one of the bad sides of FFXIV especially since the developers aren't planning on fixing it. They want friends to be able to play together despite there levels. There are better ways of achieving that goal, but I guess those cost more work as well.

Basically got from lvl 17 to lvl 21, though it was spread out over 2 different. But I swapped when lancer became lvl 20 and I switched to thamermage which was still early 20 as well so that swap could basically be ignored.

Though I did had a resting bonus stacked up during the entire time, which gives a base 50% exp bonus on all exp gained from kills. So I farmed faster than Sixty and Ronald who probably got roughly from lvl 17 to halfway lvl 20 instead.

Well you've got 20 jobs times 50 levels, so basically its a long way to heaven :D

But then again you'll only need 1 lvl 50 job to participate in 80% of the end game content. I'm leaving out roughly 20% because some content will require thougher strategies where combining skills and trades is almost required. Still we didn't do bad for a farming session that was more about fun than gaining pure raw exp ;)

Besides farming is much more fun when doing it with more people :D Almost makes it a shame the Trade of Land and Hand are still solo levelling jobs ::)

Do I only have to register my copy or create a character also to activate everything and start the counter before the 31st?
