As 2011 has ended, it's time for a 2012 edition of the Daily Update thread. The other thread has also reached over 500 posts.

Same as always, discuss your gaming. Keep spoilers of story related events to a minimum or cover them up with the spoiler tag as this topic will cover a lot of different games which others possibly haven't played.

Well since the last topic was my gaming exploits of yesterday, I'll post what's happened today.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Started the game a second time, as per my new tradition of playing it through once every winter. Got to around 18 stars or so.

Haha, nah. I've never been able to do it before, but if I end up doing it just once at some point, I'll be happy. I'll probably just beat the story at this point. It only takes around 80-ish stars to do that.

I wouldn't mind 100%'ing it, but those stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid "taking out the garbage" levels where you have to destroy the boxes are absolutely impossible for me.
