The 3rd Birthday arrives in North America March 29th
« on: February 01, 2011, 11:40:20 PM »
Parasite Eve fans have languished during the decade-long absence of Square's bizarre science-horror RPG series. The third installment, The 3rd Birthday, is set to arrive in North America on March 29 exclusively on PSP.

The action-RPG continues the story of Aya Brea, the hero of the original PlayStation games. The 3rd Birthday takes place in Manhattan in 2012 and Aya will be asked to contain an outbreak of nightmare creatures called the Twisted. Gameplay will be a mix of shooting and tactical RPG management that Square Enix calls the "Overdrive System."

The game is developed by an some of Square Enix's most renowned developers, including Yoshinori Kitase, and Tetsuya Nomura. The game will also feature the voice talents of several American actors including Yvonne Strahovski from NBC's Chuck and Jesnsen Ackles from CW's Supernatural, voicing Aya Brea and Kyle Madigan respectively.

Also confirmed is The 3rd Birthday Twisted Edition for Europe. It'll include a 48 page hardback book with concept artwork and illustrations, two Lithograph art prints of leading lady Aya Brea and an unlock code that'll allow Lightning to dress up as Aya Brea in the upcoming Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy.

So Aya Brea's going to be Australian? That's pretty interesting, I did like her work in Mass Effect 2. I'm very happy about this news, looks like I have three games to look forward to come March! Jeez, I'm going to go broke come March. :P Never watched Supernatural before, so I don't know about who's going to play Kyle.
