Shirahadori is the name for the technique. No different from saying riposte.
The only thing they went generic on were the Divine Knight skills.

They have evasion. Shirahadori/Swrdgrab is an extra check against physical attacks; think Jade Collar from XII.

Zeninage even at high levels and on multiples isn't that much more expensive than buying Ethers and Phoenix Downs. A bargain compared to Fuma Shuriken.

I would highly advise you to not go further at the risk of this turning into a flame war.

I found this combo to be pretty effective for me, though it does require Cyan and FFVI Advance.
