At first FFX was definitely the most saddest ending, but then I played Crisis Core.

I found none of them sad. At all. Actually, i guess i found X saddest because it made me feel slightly upset. Not at Yuna going from Tidus but bizzarely the high five between Tidus and Jecht. Everything else meant nothing to me. That meant barely anything. But it still wins.

video games usually don't make me cry...I laugh. Except for the ones aforementioned. Then I sit still, just thinking "oh man that really is a good game, and a sad ending".

of course, FFX was (you gotta admit some of it) had a cheesy ending. I mean, why can't a love story be happy at the end. kinda generic if you ask me...

FFVII's love story succeeded. People seem to want to think that Tifa and Cloud never had anything between them still but they're all Aeris lovers imo.
