What retro console? Does that belong on the vintage games topic?
It indeed does, but upon making my post we didn't had a vintage version yet ::)

Also I bought myself a Retro Duo. Its a third party console which functions as a "Region free" NES and SNES. Its a nice way to play those old games again, and since I recently bought Mystic Quest ;D

Finished DKC 2 again, but still haven't found all the those dam bonus coins. I missed a few Bonus barrels but i have no idea where they are.

Started Final Fantasy Tactics again. Took me about 5 tries to get through Dorter slums and I lost my black mage but whatever. Changed over one of my chemists. I really need another female now but don't have the money as that battle took all my PD's and most of my potions but at least I got through it. Now I'll spend some time leveling and gaining back some more money.

Hmm, well you seem to be on a good track so far. The key is keep your levels up and keep updating your jobs if possible. Devilman's better at advice with FFTactics, but I suggest moving Ramza from a squire to a Knight if you haven't already.

Okay well I'll keep that in mind. I'm using a walkthrough on gamefaqs and that one suggests keeping Ramza a squire for now.

I would also recommon to use at least 2 save files. There are a few moments in the game where you can only go to the next battle (without a way to train your units), would be a shame if you get stuck because of it. So keep on saving on your second file untill you can at least go to an area where you can freely level ;)

I've been continuing Mystic Quest myself lately. Managed to reach all the way up to the Lava Dome (fire dungeon). Must say for the first time in this game I've had a reasonable time figuring out the correct path through this looping dungeon. All that's left now it the wind crystal ;D

It finally seems that Mystic Quest is showing his harder side. Right now the fights are either a walk in the park or a pure nightmare. Most monster can now cause all kind of status effects including sleep, paralyse, poison and petrify. If you've ever had a pre-emptive bad breath from a Malboro in FFX you'll know what I'm facing right now ::)

I pulled out the SNES and played some Desert Strike: Return to the Gulf. Forgot how annoying and yet fun that game was.

Last night i played on the NES of my nephew, he had found that thing again and had set it up. I played Duck hunt again, that game never gets boring.

Freed the windcrystal in Mystic Quest, then went on to save captain Mac, learned of the bigger evil behind it all and eventually finished by facing the Dark King himself. He's a complete pussy though
.

So yea finally finished Mystic Quest ;D

PS1
Digimon world 3
after deciding to try to get the 3 party leader digimon for this file it turned out harder then anticipated, i wandered around the mirage desert for like 20 minutes each time i needed to find the guys who will give you them, and then actually finding the ultra level digimon. but now that i do i need to grind kotemon and kumemon

So i started playing Final Fantasy I Origins, i already finished the PSP version. But since i got this game from someone (that someone is Bram) i have to finish this version as well. I also hear this version is harder, so far i haven't noticed it. But then again i am still at the beginning.

finished my digimon world 3: unique team playthrough (the three new digimon that were in the starter packs: Kotemon, Kumamon, and Monmon *yes i did use a gameshark to have all three for the whole game*) it was fun, but i missed my usual team of Guilmon, Agumon, and Renamon

i lost the memory card that had the file where i got them normaly so i started over and took the lazy way

Hey i've used pikachu against brock before and also used charmeleon against misty. Not hard once you gain a little level difference.

Beat Misty with just my level 25 Sandslash, slash having a ~95% crit rate helped a lot. then went and beat Lt. Surge, which is when i realised that Pokemon IS supposed to be on this planet, as the gym dude said "he is commonly known as the lightning American"
i bet i knew that some time ago and forgot.

anyway, then i went through the rock tunnel and over to cerulean where i got my third pokemon: Vaporeon. then to saffron where i picked up my 4th: Hitmonlee.

tomorrow i will probably beat the rocket hide out, beat Erica, and beat the pokemon tower.

May 11: Beat team rocket, Erica and the pokemon tower, as well as getting my 5th member, Gastly.

May 12: took a day off broadcasting for some off screen grinding for Gastly and Vaporeon

May 13: finished grinding, will stream again soon

I managed to obtain the almighty Atari 2600 and a Sega Mega System.

Tried Jungle Jump and finished it on first time to my surprise even though it wasn't really difficult ;)
