Sandsea / Re: A word of thanks to everyone here

It's great that this place helped you so much. It really was a wonderfully friendly place. Having also stumbled upon this site again after years I can relate to that incredible nostalgia. Really hits you, thinking of how things have changed, eh? Does anyone else cringe at their old posts as much as I have?  ;) I feel like a completely different person now.

I'm glad to see several of the veterans here are still doing well and I wish you all the warmest of wishes.

And much respect for Bram for keeping this place going, good to see the legend himself still active here  ;)

Aw, sad to see the forum looking inactive. Glad to see that everyone seems to be doing well though  ;D

Though I've been a VERY distant member of this forum, I would like to check out the 2014 marathon, if there is one.

Best wishes to all, regardless  :D

I see a couple of older members have started posting here again :P That's good to see.

I also see a fair few of you are playing FFXIV. Seems to be doing really well. I'm personally enjoying it a lot.

Anyway, glad to see everyone seems to be doing fine ^_^

Bought Time and Eternity, and remembered I own Odin Sphere yesterday, so I'll likely play that, soon.

Dungeons look pretty nice. I only played a little bit of beta phase 3, up to level 12, I think, so I never saw any dungeons.

Being my first MMO it's going to take me a while to learn all this MMO business :P

Eorzea is looking really great thus far, though.

Yeah, the kitten (Mitsue, as I've called her) is a nonstop source of trouble. Even typing that sentence was difficult, as she'd see my fingers moving to type, and immediately dash over and on to my keyboard  :P

I was wondering when Glitch would be all over Aran ;P

Hey both!

Hey there!  ;D

And Chaos; I've been fine, thank you  :) How about you? I was wondering when the marathon would be. I won't miss this one  :o

Regarding Lightning; Yeah, that Miqo'te costume really just looks wrong, to me. I really wasn't fond of Lightning, so when I read 'LIGHTNING TO APPEAR IN FFXIV:ARR!' I was like;

Well, this place has certainly slowed down over the past month  :P
I imagine it'll pick up again when there's next some interesting gaming stuff going on. Do you guys advertise this site in many places?

Got a kitten last Friday. She's a mischievous one, that's for certain  ;D

This place really could use some more people posting, couldn't it ? :P

Though I suppose this is already a second home for most of the regulars here.
At least it's a friendly place, thanks to that.

*Sips green tea* Ahh... 8)

Current Generation / Re: Anyone else exited for Dark Souls?
« on: April 12, 2013, 07:56:06 PM »
Definitely looking forward to it. Seems like there's improvements all-round, and I'm loving the more atmospheric look of the levels. Demon's Souls had great atmosphere in each of it's levels, but Dark Souls felt pretty 'meh' in atmosphere, to me.

Hello everybody!
I hope that they are some peolpe here this time, because I always come when nobody is here :-X

The same thing always seemed to happen to me, ha ha.

The times I logged in were always the quietest of times  ::)
Just the way it goes, though  ;)

Yeah, my main thing is knowing my limits. Since its not actually a muscle injury (which would heal eventually :x ), I don't suffer the same limitations. But if I overwork my back muscles, or strain one in any way, the resulting spasms are beyond horrible :(  I'm just careful not to do it lol. I haven't had a spasm in 6 years now. (knocks on wood a few times, just to be safe :P )

Ahh, OK, I see. Yeah, it's a good thing you know your limits then, as I'd undoubtedly push myself just a little too much  ::)

UGH. Shoulder, back, and neck injuries SUCK. Have torn ligaments in my lower back, I know that pain :/

Ouch, that must be a pain. Yeah, it sucks being injured in the back, since essentially every movement beyond the fingers, toes and face forces you to contract or move your back muscles  :-[

I especially hate muscle injuries because sometimes you think you're moving alright, going nice and slow, then BAM, shocking pain for you >.>

Well, I pretty badly pulled and tore the muscles all around the tops of my shoulders and upper back. Within two days it hurt even to breathe, and every single movement was extremely painful, and I could barely turn my head.

Had to do everything in slow-motion >.>
