I would say, yes. Just be sure you're ready for everything of the show. To the complicated politics between several kingdoms and the explicit scenes from, let's say, brothels.

there are a few scenes in the Brothels, its more politics then anything else. I am also reading the books and i hope that in season 3 there are more battles.

Anyway if you like all the above i would say go watch it, the intro song alone is great.

Nudity once an episode is mostly too much for some people. It's really fun to see some of the older folks react to those scenes :P

Alright, finally caught up! I pretty much started GoT and caught up to the current episodes in about two weeks, and it's been great. Can't wait for Sunday!

Finally started to get more interesting. This season has been pretty slow so far.
