Take care to get what you like or you will be forced to like what you get.

I think Square Enix should remove a zero from those housing and land prices. Jeez...

Otherwise, 2.1 is looking very awesome indeed.

8.000.000 for a small 5th rank piece of land on Odin :o :o :o

I've expected the large top tier pieces to be roughly that high, but I really hoped they would have kept in mind that there would also be free companies with less than 10 people out there :-\

everybody make new characters play through the story give the money to the FC and do it again. fast money ;D

at least that is what allot of people on some forums are suggesting. I doubt that it is the fastest way.

Well that trick is both the fastest way to earn gill (unless your able to farm coil turn 1-4 weekly). But that same trick is probably also the fastest way to raise the gill bot flag, meaning you'll most likely get a "temporary" ban, during the next cleanup wave ::)

The fastest way would be to simply farm gill the old fasioned way and hope that the prices will eventually drop down (as it is working through some sort of action system), so the longer we can wait the cheaper it will become. Still after 90 days its still a good 4 million gill >_>

And as far as I know its just Oni and me within our FC who got close to a million gill on our banks (and I wasn't planning to spend all of that).

Nah, playing through the story takes too long, and the money you get isn't even that much (250K if you know what you're doing), you're much better off doing crafting leves or running dungeons.

Personal breakdown of the Battle Class Changes:

Paladin: Cover Change is solid. It was a bit low of a range anyway to use consistently, might be more used now. Dunno why Shield Oath Enmity goe sup, but might be to bring it on par with Defiance.

Warrior: Been thinking about it a little more. Might be a tad bit too much, but Paladin is still gonna be alot ebtter, considering Hallowed Ground>Holmgang, and Paladin can still block, unlike Warrior. We'll see how it pans out, but they went in the right direction.

Monk: Same as Warrior, they definitely went in the right direction with giving them more tools from the back. They might have gone a little overboard, but 12 seconds Greaed lightning still limits them somewhat, depending on the boss fight.

Dragoon: Probably the most balanced changes overall. They did all that was needed to be balanced and changed here. Jump animations was necessary, Heavy thrust was most likely to put it on par with Bard and Summoner, and Power Surge runs ona  similar vein.

Bard: I am alright with this. People are makign a big fuzz about it, but Bard is still going to be the exact same deal as before the patch, just not as insanely damaging when fully buffed. Same utility, same mobility, good uptime, voerall lower damage than monk or black mage, which now reside on the Top of the List.

Summoner: Kinda got the shittier end of the stick though... Thunder Removal kinda sucks a bit for Summoners. -25% dot damage is :C . Bane time nerf is also kinda bleh, and the buff, although good, wasnt what people were hoping for. Dont like the way they went with it.

_______

EDIT: I rolled some numbers again: Turns out, it was actually kinda ok.
Based on what damage i can do, with Bio2-Miasma-Bio, i still do aboutapprox 90 dps with Dots, 75 with ruin and 60 with garuda-egi. +30 with festers. that is still 250~DPS without Raging strikes, Spur, Rouse or any other offensive buffs. Or even crits. Normal Relic. 15int(was testing numbers before with scholar, but thats irrelevant). With thunder, you can almsot reach an average of 300dps with no special gear at all, just Darklight and Demagogue ring. Thats crazy
_____

White Mage: Not bad actually. Might make Cure3-based setups alot more efficient now, especially considering the fact that Medica2's regen has been changed in its way too.

Scholar: Lustrate +5%. Thats pretty big. It adds up during longer fights.

Virus: Who didnt see this one coming, hands down. Apotestasis already was like this, it was just a matter of time. Suprised this didnt come sooner.

Blizzard II: Why is this a cross-class now?

Overall: Good stuff SE.
