Ratchet and Clank series
« on: October 19, 2009, 06:29:38 PM »
I saw that there wasn't yet a R&C topic and it's 1 of my favourite games so I had to make a topic for it.
I myself played through all of them. Borrowed R&C 1 from my nephews as I did with Gladiator. R&C 2 was my favourite but after lending it to my nephews it miracolously didn't work any more... R&C 3 was the easiest imo because only the final world was a little challenging... Tools of Destruction is pretty good also and Quest for Booty is awesome for it's hard mode. Can get really annoying with a new game :). Can't wait for A Crack in Time.

Rachet and Clank 1 is the first PS2 game i played, i love it. I bought my PS2 in a bundle and it came with it

i own:
Rachet and Clank
Rachet and Clank  3: Up Your Arsenal
Rachet: Deadlocked
Rachet and Clank: Size Matters(PSP)

im planning on getting either RC 5: Tools of Destruction or RC 6: A Crack in Time soon

i like the games, they have funny characters(especially Rachet). Clank is pretty cool too

Totally forgot about Size Matter and Secret Agent Clank for a sec there xD. I don't think R&C A Crack in Time should be considered number 6 seeing how R&C Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty and a Crack in Time are a trilogy. Tools of Destruction was already a HUGE improvement of all the earlier games.

I only played Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal. I also played both demos for the games.

I just played the demo of Rachet and Clank a crack in time, you can only play as Clank in this demo. Its really fun to play with him. There is also another demo of a game from rachet and clank, but thats not related to the story of Rachet and Clank. Butt still fun to play.

3 was probably the best, yeah. Deadlocked was really good, but it didn't have the same feel. Plus it was solely gladiatorial combat with no help from Clank at all :P

Tools of Destruction was very good, but I think they jumped a bit too far with the whole

ordeal.

But when it all comes down to it, there's no beating the first one. Hard, money was hard to come by, boss battles took it to the extreme, and it was the first  game of its kind.

My favorite is Gladiator, the co-op mode was great. I hope that the next Rachet and Clank will have online multiplayer.

I know, that's another thing they shouldn't have done :P part of the fun of skill points is finding out how to get them, and getting them.

Well luckily in the next gen games of R&C you gotta find out for yourself again.
Which reminds me, i still have to go and buy a crack in time.
