Square Enix, wasting no time, announced the PSP reimagining of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together for North America. The US name drops the Wheel of Fortune subtitle, but has all of the same features including the new not-yet-explained Wheel of Fortune system.
The PSP version of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together has a re-arranged soundtrack with 15 new compositions, redrawn 3D maps that emphasize height, larger battles, a battle skill ability, new classes, and new characters like Raveness.

A release date for Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together was not announced for North America or Japan. Check out more screenshots of the game at the source.

Let Us Cling Together is a rather...odd subtitle in my opinion especially with the use of an inclusive pronoun.

Who knows - I may actually try this. I love the art style. Love the look of the field maps. Love the high definition sprites. And it certainly sounds interesting enough to make me put aside my general unenthusiasm of these types of RPGs.

Let Us Cling Together was the original name of the Playstation version of this game. If this is a simple remake, then I will definitely be one to play this. There are a lot of things that just draw me in to this game:

Sakimoto and Iwata doing music makes me quite happy. The isometric fields remind me a lot of the Final Fantasy Tactics games as well.  I do love the art style too. There's definitely a Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story feel to it. But I guess that's because the Ivalice team is leading this.

It would be better to say that Final Fantasy Tactics and Vagrant Story have an Ogre feeling. The Ogre series where originally made by key persons as Yasumi Matsuno, Hiroshi Minagawa and Akihiko Yoshida who back then worked for a company called Quest. When Square wanted to ride on the success of the Ogre games by creating Final Fantasy Tactics those key persons left Quest and joined Square.

So while Final Fantasy Tactics does have a Final Fantasy feeling to it, at heart its just another entry in the Ogre series :D Also to finish the history lesson. Not much later after the release of Tactics Square bought out Quest entirely, so that's how they got the rights for the Ogre series as well.

So I doubt I'll need to say that fans of Final Fantasy Tactics should really check out this game as well ;)
