Here IIRC only Curly posted some Sig Tutorials but those are pretty old and I don't know if he used textures. Search on DeviantArt and your bound to find plenty of Tutorials.

I'll take a look around, any tips on blending the text into the background but still keeping it readable/noticeable?

I don't know, I want to use everyone I make but there's not enough room
