Was this song in FFX?

The song Hybrids of Steel by Arch Enemy at around 23 seconds in makes me think of ffx. I'm not sure if maybe they used a similar riff in a battle, but from the first time I heard this song until today I always think of ffx

It does start to sound like a boss music track at 23 seconds, but nope, it wasn't in FFX, or any Final Fantasy game as far as I'm aware. Maybe you're confusing it with "Otherworld".

Doesn't sound familiar at all to me.

sounds more like one of the songs on Star Ocean: Till The End of Time

People wanna believe that they can do anything. The believe this because it gives them hope. If you have hope you have something you can aspire to become and, eventually, through hard work and determination, you can and will become that thing you've always dreamed you could be. ~Me
I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious. ~Vince Lombardi
