I'm seriously thinking about getting the standard version instead of the CE.... The money I'll save can be used for 3 month of subscriptions and the Onion Helm is quite a useless equip..

There's something in the CE really worth the price?

With my exams over and 2.0 on the horizon, I may have to buy this game.

Push the button. That's why it's there. If it wasn't meant to be pushed, it wouldn't be a button.

Not really. The notebook (read artbook) is decent, but apart from that and a nice world map there isn't anything in it. The onion helm is quite worthless to be honest.

Well then. Since the Security Token can be obtained in other ways I'll get the standard edition which cost is laughable.

If Metal Choc starts playing, it's almost inevitable that I will join soon after.

When the darkness of the Abyss threatens the world, the Phoenix will rise amidst a whirlwind of fire and light.

I just saw this on The Lodestone:

Quote
We have received questions from the community regarding when they need to begin playing FINAL FANTASY XIV if they wish to qualify for the Legacy Campaign.

In order to fulfill the requirements for the Legacy Campaign, a player must register his/her copy of the game no later than Thursday, May 31, 2012, and have subscribed for a minimum of 90 days beyond the conclusion of your free trial period.

This means that i can't be a Legacy Member :(

Why? You don't plan on subscribing for 3 months straight?

EDIT: Oh wait. You need 90 days + the 30 from the free trial? If in every copy of FFXIV there's 30 days for free and since SE knows it (at least I hope they do ::)) then we are still eligible as long as we activate before the 31st.

Just to be sure it says they automatically notify you if you're not eligible so check and let us know.

My copy should arrive just in time for me to get the Legacy bonus. Mostly in it for the armoured chocobo.

Push the button. That's why it's there. If it wasn't meant to be pushed, it wouldn't be a button.

Bram's theory was that the code i used is bought, so should count towards 90 days. Ronald used my friend code, so he has 30 days free, which doesn't count. So until i get the email from SE, i am hoping it counts for me.

Today I got my copy of FFXIV. I guess I'll install it and activate the various accounts but I'll wait to update it since I heard it takes like hours.
