Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn - Dungeon Crawl Part 1
« on: July 25, 2013, 12:24:12 PM »
So a new trailer came out today,

The area's they have shown look amazing, and some that i saw in the 1.0 version are changed in a good way. For as far as i could see.
Also the last area that you will see in the video, Brayflox's Longstop, kinda reminds me of FFCC The Veo Lu Sluice.

I had hoped they would show us some new dungeons. Guess I have to wait for part 2. :-\

I managed to do the last two before the beta ended. They were pretty fun, although I liked Haukee Manor more. Massive Castlevania vibes with the setting, music and enemies and the bosses were fun to take on. Brayflox gave me a few rare infantry items and I did love the end boss fight. Excellent way to end the beta for me. :P

Haukke was my favorite, as well. Brayflox was a bit boring to be honest.

Yeah, Haukee was awesome and agreed on the Castlevania vibes. Was refreshing after the awful Toto-Rak dungeon, lol. I hate the boss there, even though I got good loots.

Didn't get a chance to do Brayflox.

Oh, didn't know you were playing, too. We really need to meet on the same server. Both US and EU servers will be located in Montreal, so it doesn't matter what we choose.

Yeah, I was on the Midgardsormr (kept saying Ragnarok but apparently I was wrong x_X) server with Spee for the beta, although we are planning to move to Odin for Phase 4 and beyond.

Are all of these dungeons instances now ??

Because one of these dungeons used to be a "normal" leveling area with conditional battles. So basically it was a dungeon, but you could team up with random people that you encountered in the area as well.

Dungeons look pretty nice. I only played a little bit of beta phase 3, up to level 12, I think, so I never saw any dungeons.

Being my first MMO it's going to take me a while to learn all this MMO business :P

Eorzea is looking really great thus far, though.
