Arnie Roth teases FFXII Remake

Arnie Roth teased the FFXII Remake (he probably meant a re-master, though) at a Distant Worlds concert in Pittsburgh:



Now we need Square Enix to tease the release date. ;D

They haven't even started to make the game yet. They probably going to put a full team on it after Kingdom Hearts III, which means earliest it will be 2018.

Where is your source for this statement or are this just your own thoughts?

A remake for FFXII (more likely remaster) would require the same process as the remaster for FFX and that team finished roughly 8 months ago, if you ask me that's more than enough time to get a head start on FFXII. Besides the're wouldn't be a point to put a whole team on this project as a remaster would mainly require the graphical designers to update all the graphics ::)

I wonder if we'll get uncompressed audio in the remastered version and if we do what it will sound like. While the audio in the original version was low quality it did fit in certain occasions.

I got one as soon as I heard about the FF7 remake, and this just makes me even happier. I always wanted to play IZJS
