Thank you for the sticky! I was afraid that it was too large for a single section of Final Fantasy IV, so I cluttered a lot of the guide so it wouldn't be that large to scroll down :P

I'm very lazy these days, and I can't be bothered to remove the bold and other tags from my original document, so I won't be sending it over soon, and I'm pretty horrible at making disclaimers and whatnot.

I'll give a reason on why I chose to give augments to (?) character and whatnot soon.

I can't do the edits in this topic, as it will max out the 20000 character limit. I'm editing my guide now, as I spliced the Augment section from my one .txt document and put it into a new one.

I'm making little changes to my personal Augment playthroughs at the moment, and I've tweaked mainly the first playthrough, so that there's better uses for some augments.

Hey, Someddrnoob. I came here from GameFAQs... I think I'm more tempted to follow your guide than the others posted at GameFAQs, but I have a couple questions. I ask these with genuineness, as I finally got the game a couple days ago and just started playing it!

1) Why do you have Draw Attacks given to Kain on plays 2 and 3?
2) Why do you have Darkness given to Cecil in plays 1 and 2?
3) Why wait until the third run to give Rydia Reach, when you could give it to her in run 2?

There's a few errors I haven't bothered to fix, because I wasn't paying too much attention to the augment playthroughs.

I'm bound to fix them though, a lot of these errors were because of copy/paste. I'll fix them soon enough.

I'm replacing the one that's posted in this topic, with my new one that's in the guides.fftogether.com page.

EDIT: Fixed the minor stuff now, thanks for the errors that I've overlooked.

Ah, great. I'll keep my eyes on the guides page, then. Didn't know it was there; I'm new to the site.

Thanks for the guide, too! It's wicked good.

UPDATE: I've made space on my Augment Guide and removed the FAQs section, in favor of replacing it with my original recommendations for augment distributions, to compare with my current one.

EDIT: If anyone wants stat tables for a particular setup, I prefer you send me a Private Message on FFTogether once you've joined.

There's a big and glaring error that I've just now noticed, unfortunately. Whirlwind is given to Edge in the first playthrough according to your guide, but never equipped by the third playthrough for stat-maxing. It is never shown to be given to Kain, but has him equipping it for stat-maxing. I'm now at the end of the first playthrough, and Edge has had Whirlwind since I could give it to him. Argh. :( Don't suppose there's a way to fix that now.
