Blue Magic: Learning Level (x) spells
« on: November 04, 2008, 04:48:18 AM »
Does the person have to be affected by those spells in order to learn them? (in this case Galuf)

I can't remember if this Final Fantasy is the one that the (x) character needs to be affected in order to learn it.

yeah, you have to be hit by the spell. if you don't mind skipping a lot, go to the last world and get to LV60. it's divisible by every LV spell.

I realized this because FFVI's Level (x) magics cast anyways regardless if they work or not.

I'll need to have Galuf solo for a bit if I want him to learn Level 5 Death from Page 64. I never got the Motor Trap to activate Self-Destruct >:(

Dischord is another thing, I had Lenna get hit by it during the battle with Byblos, and she had Learning.

Sorry if this is late, but you gotta cast Bolt/Thunder on a Motor Trap for it to Self-destruct.
You can also learn Aqua Breath from a Dhorme Chimera (NOT RECOMMENDED FOR OBVIOUS REASONS), Moon Flute from a Page, Magic Hammer from Byblos, and steal a Javelin from a Bear in the Shifting Sands. What version are you playing?

My party level average is 23, and I can easily survive the Dhorme Chimera.

I'm playing the GBA version of the game. Oh well, I can get Self-Destruct from Bomb/Prototype.

This topic can end now, I've found my answer.

I've learned Moon Flute from Jackanapes, and I got it in my bestiary.

also, learning Aera from Karnak castle Gigas's is optional, if you can make it.

I already made it and I got Death Claw as well.

I just sank the Fire Ship, and now I'm going to Jachol.
