Datalog (Final Fantasy XIII)

The Datalog is a journal that records events that happen throughout Final Fantasy XIII. It is accessible from the main menu, and is updated with information on events, enemies, characters, and gameplay. A prompt blinks on the upper left side of the screen when it has been updated.

Datalog Containments

• Events
  • Records the events that happen within each chapter of the story as it progresses and lists the chapters in chronological order.

• People
  • Character profiles. On some occasions, a characters profile may update as the story progresses.

• The Thirteen Days
  • Tells the events that lead up to Final Fantasy XIII.

• History and Myth
  • Details on the history and mythological aspects and beliefs of the entire game world's society.

• Locales
  • Location profiles explored or mentioned throughout the game

• Cocoon Society
  • Provides information on the world of Cocoon and it's inhabitants.

• The fal'Cie
  • fal'Cie profiles that are mentioned or seen throughout the game

• Analects
  • Records all the terms which are prevalent in the creation myth of the game's world.

• Primers
  • Various primers that explain gameplay, battle, menu and exploration basics.

• Enemy Intel
  • A bestiary that records information on monsters you have fought in the game.
