Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus is the sequel to the seventh installment of the Final Fantasy franchise. Unlike the rest of the series, Dirge of Cerberus was made as a Third-Person shooter with some elements of a RPG. The game follows Vincent Valentine, a playable character from the original title and is the sole playable character of the game. The Japanese Version of Dirge of Cerberus also supported multiplayer, while other versions did not. The game, however, was not as nearly popular as Final Fantasy VII was; receiving mixed reviews from critics. However, it received numerous awards such as Best Script.
