Final Fantasy X-2 is the sequel to the tenth installment of the Final Fantasy franchise and the first Final Fantasy video game sequel to be made. The story takes place two years after the events of Final Fantasy X and follows Yuna, now a sphere hunter along with Rikku and a new character called Paine. The game was released two years after Final Fantasy X and was also a commercially successful game, selling approximately four million copies worldwide. An international version was made and released a day before the European release in Japan, titled Final Fantasy X-2 International + Last Mission.
