Final Fantasy XI is the eleventh installment in the Final Fantasy franchise. It became the first Final Fantasy MMORPG and was released for the PlayStation 2 is 2002 in Japan (later becoming available in North America in 2004), Windows PC in 2003 and later; the Xbox 360 in 2006. As of April 2009, Square Enix stated there was a total of two million active accounts made. Numerous expansions for the game has been made, such as Rise of the Zilart and Chains of Promathia
