Wakka is a player character in Final Fantasy X and a non-playable character in Final Fantasy X-2. He is one of Yuna's guardians and a blitzball player for the Besaid Aurochs. As such, Wakka's main weapon is a blitzball. He started to hate Al Bhed when his brother Chappu fought with a Al Bhed machina weapon instead of the sword Wakka gave him and died as a result. Wakka speaks with a Hawaiian like accent, ending some of his sentences with the phrase "ya."

Wakka is an important character to take down flying enemies based on his high accuracy. His sphere grid color is yellow.
