Warriors of Light is a term that can refer back to the main playable characters in the early Final Fantasy games. They are chosen by an ancient prophecy and united by unique crystals that each one have.

Final Fantasy I

In final fantasy I the four Warriors of Light are the main playable characters and set forth to rid the world of dark forces, and bring light back to the land. They were called by the King of Cornelia to rescue his kidnapped daughter, which was taken by his corrupted knight, Garland.
