White Mage is a
Job in the Final Fantasy series. The White Mage job is among the first classes that debuting in the first installment. White Mages wield Rods and use White Magic to heal allies and remove Status ailments. The first notable White Mage of the series is
Minwu from
Final Fantasy II. Even though the White Mage debuted in
Final Fantasy, there was no characterization however. Most White Mages, such as
Yuna and
Garnet, also have access to Summon Magic.
