Doing well. Started a PhD in Germany about a year ago. It's pretty much the same work-sleep cycle that you described and it looks like it won't be ending anytime soon. ::)

I expect to work around the restrictions in the future. It's a big bummer they can't queue for dungeons. Maybe they'll force them to specific builds for those.

There is another Free Login Campaign, so I'll probably be back for a few days at the end of the month. Need to catch up with the story again. :D

People seem pretty salty about Blue Mage. I guess all the people complaining that the game isn't deviating from the formula don't want it to deviate after all. ;D

We'll have only one Sigmascape (the tier in 4.2). The first raid tier was called Deltascape. We don't know yet what the next one will be called.

I also remember the talk about 4.6 and 4.7. If it happens we may get more than just three tiers. In that scenario we could have Sephiroth as the final boss of the third tier and Omega Prime as the final boss in the next and final tier. It may even be a stand-alone battle (like the Ultimate Coil) instead of a whole raid tier.

Looks like Sigmascape will be FFVI-themed. I guess the last one will be VII or VIII-themed, whichever one has Omega Weapon (both I think?). I expect Omega Prime to be the final boss. I also expect to see Sephiroth as a boss at some point, but it wouldn't make sense for Kefka to be the final boss of this tier and Sephiroth not to be the final boss in the VII tier. Who knows, maybe they even deviate a bit from the pattern we had so far.

Yup. I expect a trailer today during the live letter. I also expect the release date to be October 10th. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll have the time to play this patch. :-\

Did you manage to buy a plot in Shirogane?

You know what to do next month: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/special/callback/  ;D

Ashe's Cure Values start WAY in front of the ones I get on my PS4. For those who are also having problems look at the following post from me on GameFAQS for full details on this:

https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/191202-final-fantasy-xii-the-zodiac-age/75619849?page=1#79

The only probable solution is for me to write a new section and determine everything again for those whose list starts well in front of mine  :-\

That's one of the issues with using Cure values and not the numbers provided by the RNG. However, if their list starts before yours, they could simply cast Cure until they get a match.

To be honest, it doesn't appear that Bluesang has an effect on the RNG so I can't be sure if it's necessary to remove him;

One random number is used to determine whether or not he spawns.

Do you happen to have a list of the spawn order of the chests for us who know how the RNG works?

I have to chime in with LMAO at Square Enix for deciding they had to change the RNG a teensy weensy little bit because gamers on FFT figured out the chest coding.

It's not like that, though. The game most likely uses an external library (code written by a third party) for the RNG. When they re-released this, they didn't change any of their own code, they simply used a newer version of said library. If they really wanted us to stop manipulating the RNG, all they'd have to do is change the seed (a number used to initialize the RNG). Instead of having a fixed seed, they could simply make it time-based. My guess as for the reason why they didn't do this is that they simply wanted a predictable RNG for testing and debugging purposes.
