can anyone tell me how big of a cash investment this would be
some titles onthe wii shop network have this retarded thing where you buy the game for like $10 but then to buy the rest of the game (in small sections) it is actualy like $40
how much am i looking at?
If you just get the "Core Game" and the Final Chapter, all you really need to beat the game, its 1,600 Wii Points, which is more or less $16. If you want the Full Game (The Core Game, all Optional Chapters, and the Final Chapter), it'll cost you 3,700 Wii Points, or about $37. You can select what Optional Chapters you'd like to play, and they cost 300 Wii Points, or $3, so just add whatever ones you choose to the $16 you need to get the Core Game & Final Chapter.
Here's the Break-Down if you want it though.
The "Core Game" was released as a set for 800 WiiPoints.
The "Core Game" contains the following:
- Prologue: Return of the Moon
- Ceodore's Tale: The Last of the Red Wings
- Kain's Tale: Return of the Dragoon
Tales 4-10 are entirely optional, so you don't have to play them, and costs 300 WiiPoints each.
The Optional Tales are:
- Rydia's Tale: The Eidolons Shackled
- Yang's Tale: The Master of Fabul
- Palom's Tale: The Mage's Voyage
- Edge's Tale: The Pulse of Babil
- Porom's Tale: The Vanished Lunar Whale
- Edward's Tale: Star-Crossed Damcyan
- The Lunarian's Tale: The Blue Planet That Was
The Final Episode is required to finish the game and costs 800 Wii Points.
The Final Episode is called:
- The Crystals: Planet Eater
Also, except for the Core Game, each chapter is purchased within
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years rather than the Wii Shop Channel.
Sadly, I won't have the chance to play it until I get a new Wii, since my brother lost mine around Christmas last year.
